Pick Santa, an Elf, Snowflake or Reindeer. Tell us the name, the age and a few things worth celebrating this year. Read Santa’s script for free, then get a short video from Santa to watch, download and share.
It’s a Santa video made for one child: their name, their age, the bike they learned to ride. A personalised Santa video, as they say in the UK, is ready within minutes, in one of 9 languages.

These are videos made with Santa Cards, one of them in Spanish. Tap to play with sound. They were made last season, when videos were a little shorter; this year’s English and Spanish videos are 15 seconds, and the other languages 10 seconds.
Four characters, three scenes each. Santa is the classic, but a message from an Elf, a gentle Snowflake or a Reindeer is a fun surprise for kids who have already had one from Santa. A close-up shot shows more lip-sync; a wide shot shows more of the scene and its animation.

Choose one of 9 video languages, then tell us what’s worth celebrating this year: up to 500 characters, typed in any language.

Check names and ages carefully. Your video will follow exactly this script.
What Santa will say
Ho ho ho, Leo! Six years old already! I hear you learned to swim this summer, and now you’re a big brother too. I’m so proud of you! Keep roaring like a dinosaur. Merry Christmas!Pay and create videoYou see the final price at checkout, before paying.Santa speaks 9 languages: you choose the video language in the form. Type your message in any language and we turn it into his lines. A grandmother in Poland can write in Polish for a grandchild who will hear Santa in Spanish, or a hint typed in English can become Santa’s lines in Polish or Japanese.
Every language is voiced by the AI model that speaks it most naturally. English and Spanish videos are 15 seconds. In German, French, Portuguese, Italian, Polish, Japanese and Korean we use a model chosen for its native-sounding pronunciation, and it makes 10-second videos. The price is the same.
Sofía, 7. Loves horses and was very brave at the dentist.
“¡Jo, jo, jo, Sofía! ¡Ya tienes siete años! Me han contado que fuiste muy valiente en el dentista y que te encantan los caballos. ¡Estoy muy orgulloso de ti! ¡Feliz Navidad!”

The voice is AI-generated, so read the script carefully before you pay. Unusual names and phrases can occasionally come out differently than you expect, and the AI may use a common nickname of the name (for example Anita for Ana in Spanish).
In the UK and Ireland Santa often goes by Father Christmas, and he’s the same man in the same red coat. Mention “Father Christmas” in the wishes hint if that’s what your family calls him, for example “Father Christmas is proud of Oliver for his first nativity play”. The script shows you exactly how the AI wrote the lines, so you can check the name he goes by before you pay. The video is delivered online, so a Father Christmas video sent on 24 December still arrives on time, with no postage and no delivery slot.

Pick two or three things, not ten: 10 to 15 seconds goes quickly. Something your child did this year, something new ahead, a hug from someone far away. Here are example hints written by us:
To mention someone else, write it as a greeting from them (“Grandma sends a big hug”). Other people’s names may be replaced with “your family”. More tips in how to make a personalized Santa video.
It works for grown-ups too: Santa adapts the tone to the age you enter.

Every video is in portrait format for phones and ends with a short Santa Cards logo. That is room for two or three personal things, so the AI keeps the lines short and focused.
Usually within minutes after payment. The order page updates by itself; you can also close it and come back later, or find the video in My gifts when you are signed in.
Your message is a hint, not a word-for-word script. Our AI (Claude, by Anthropic) writes the lines in the character’s voice, keeps them short enough for the video and rewrites anything unsuitable for children. You read the exact script before paying, and you can change the details and write a new one if it isn’t right.
9 languages: English, Spanish, German, French, Portuguese, Italian, Polish, Japanese and Korean. You choose the video language in the order form, and you can type your hint in any language: the character speaks the language you chose. English and Spanish videos are 15 seconds, the others 10 seconds, at the same price. The voice is AI-generated, so a name or phrase can occasionally sound a little different from what you expect.

No, the video itself is paid, and we say so up front. What is free: reading Santa’s script. You type the name, age and wishes, our AI writes the lines, and you read the exact script before deciding whether to buy. The example videos on this page and our printable letter from Santa are free too. Our page “Free Santa video? What’s free and what isn’t” compares the free options out there honestly.
Yes. The website works the same in the UK, Ireland, Australia and everywhere else, and the video is delivered online, so there is no shipping. You see the price before you pay.
Every video gets its own page with a share link (santacards.app/v/…) that opens on any phone or computer, so you can send it by WhatsApp, iMessage, text or email. You can also download the MP4 file.
If the video has a critical technical fault, for example the wrong character or scene, or sound so out of sync that it can’t be watched, report it within 7 days with the video issue form and you get one free replacement. Matters of taste, like the voice or the art style, are not covered.
Check the script carefully before you pay: the video follows it exactly. A typo in a name or age that was in the script you approved is not covered by a replacement.
Yes. Sign in on santacards.app (My gifts) with the same Apple or Google account you use in the Santa Cards app, and your videos appear in both places. Videos made as a guest are kept for 30 days, so we recommend signing in.
